Forrest City Medical Center wins quality award
AFMC program recognizes excellence in health care
Forrest City, AR (June 7, 2010) – Forrest City Medical Center has earned a Best Achievement Award in the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care’s annual Quality Awards program.
The awards are designed to recognize individual performance improvement in AFMC’s quality improvement projects. The Best Achievement Award honors organizations with the highest scores on a ser of specific health care measures. Barry M. Straube, MD, director of the Office of Clinical Standards and Quality (OCSQ) and the chief medical officer at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), presented the award.
