Forrest City, AR (May 18, 2010) — Ashley Williams, RN, was recently recognized as the Forrest City Medical Center’s Patient Choice Award winner. The award is given based on the nominations of former patients to honor exceptional nurses who exceed expectations.

The Patient Choice Award recognizes the quality care, comfort and compassion by the nurses at Forrest City Medical Center, and honors one nurse each year. Williams was presented with the award during hospital week activities at Forrest City Medical Center.

“Ashley is an exceptional Critical Care nurse. The care and compassion that she gives to each of her patients, makes us very proud to have Ashley as part of our Forrest City Medical Center team,” said Tanya Hughes, FCMC Chief Nursing Officer.

Also, “Williams was absolutely wonderful. She made my visit feel like I had won the lottery instead of being sick,” wrote the unidentified patient. “She was caring, sharing, and spoke warms at all times…she is truly one of God’s angels.”
