Our eight bed unit provides care to patients who are critically ill and need to be monitored closely. The unit is staffed by specially trained nurses.

Lab

Forrest City Medical Center provides a full service laboratory accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Outpatient and inpatient testing includes but is not limited to: Blood Banking, Coagulation, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology, and Urinalysis. Sleep Lab

Our sleep lab helps your physician diagnosis several types of sleep disorders including Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Narcolepsy, Insomnia and Restless Leg Syndrome. If you are experiencing any of these problems, make an appointment to discuss it with your doctor. Sleep disorders are treatable. Sleep disorder evaluation appointments are usually made through physician referrals and should include all pertinent history, diagnoses, results of laboratory studies and consultative work.
