Senior Care is an 18 bed geriatric behavioral health unit located on the 3rd floor of Forrest City Medical Center. Senior Care provides compassionate, quality care to persons over 55 years of age, who are suffering from:
Patient care is provided through a multidisciplinary approach. Each patient is supported by a psychiatrist, physician, social workers, nursing staff members and other health care specialists. This team develops a treatment plan to meet the needs of each patient, providing a supportive environment in which the individual may achieve optimal health and wellness.
Referrals to Senior Care can be made through a physician, psychiatrist, caregiver, family member or human services organization. Assessments are free and confidential.
